Planning and building regulation stages 

Stage 1 Planning 

Free initial consultation to discuss your project (depending on location) 

Measured survey of existing building. 

Preliminary drawing of proposed extension. 

Discussion of design changes if required. 

Full set of scaled CAD drawings for planning application. 

Existing and proposed plans and elevations. 

Site Block and location plans. 

Production of pdf copies of the drawings for submission to the local authority. 

Printing of drawings if required. 

Completion and submission of planning application. 

Stage II Building Regulation approval. 

Once planning approval is granted, this takes between 6 to 8 weeks, a full set of dimensioned, annotated, detailed drawings and specifications are developed from the initial planning drawings along with structural Engineers calculations. Full Plans application for approval is then submitted to building control.
